Boschkrans takes note of the worldwide fear for the effects of global warming. We share the concern that global warming can cause a rise in sea levels, climate changes, disappearance of forests, changes in production, have a detrimental effect on human and animal welfare, the development of deserts, change in sea currents and a shifting of the shoreline.

We therefore commit ourselves to the following actions:

• To use carbon foot printing (a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide) to reduce carbon dioxide release.
• Investigate alternative ways for use of electricity, like the wind and solar energy
• No unnecessary usage of electricity
• Saving petrol and diesel
• Using energy efficient globes
• Insulation of geysers
• Installing thermostats on radiators
• Investigation of the production of biodiesel on the farm
